Privacy Policy

Last updated: January 2026

This Privacy Policy describes how N2 Computing ("we," "our," or "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use Emergix, our incident and emergency operations service. We are committed to protecting your privacy and handling your data with the highest standards of security and transparency.

1. Information We Collect

Contact Information: We collect only the contact information necessary to provide Emergix services, including email addresses and basic contact details. This information is used solely for service communication, support, and account management purposes.

Alert and Notification Information: We collect only the information necessary to send alerts and notifications through Emergix. This includes notification preferences, alert channels (such as email or integration endpoints), and minimal configuration data required for alert delivery. We do not collect any personal information beyond what is strictly necessary for alert functionality.

What We Do Not Collect: Emergix is designed with privacy in mind. We do not collect personal information beyond contact details and alert-related configuration. We do not collect browsing history, location data, device information, or any other personal data that is not essential for providing alert and notification services.

Operational Information: We collect and manage minimal operational information necessary for service delivery, including system access logs and audit trails. This information is used exclusively for operational purposes, security, and service improvement.

2. Minimal Data Collection Principle

Emergix operates on a minimal data collection principle. We collect only contact information and alert configuration data necessary to deliver notifications. We do not access, store, or process your customer data, operational data, or any other information beyond what is required for alert delivery.

All data collection is limited to what is strictly necessary for the alert and notification functionality. We do not collect data for analytics, marketing, or any purpose other than providing the Emergix service.

3. How We Use Your Information

Contact Information: We use your contact information to communicate with you about Emergix services, provide support, manage your account, and send important service-related notifications.

Alert Configuration: We use alert configuration data solely to deliver alerts and notifications according to your preferences. This information is used exclusively for the alert delivery functionality and is not used for any other purpose.

Operational Logs: We maintain minimal operational logs for security, service delivery, and compliance purposes. These logs contain only system access information and do not include personal or customer data.

4. Data Security

We implement comprehensive security measures to protect all information under our management. This includes encryption in transit and at rest, access controls, regular security audits, and compliance with industry security standards.

All access to customer data is logged and auditable. We maintain strict access controls and limit access to information on a need-to-know basis. Our read-only architecture ensures that customer data cannot be modified or compromised through our services.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure

We do not sell, rent, or share your contact information or alert configuration data with third parties. We do not use your information for marketing purposes or any purpose other than providing Emergix services.

We may disclose information only when required by law, to protect our rights or the rights of others, or in response to valid legal process. In such cases, we will provide notice when legally permitted.

Alert delivery may require integration with third-party notification services (such as email providers or messaging platforms). In such cases, only the minimum information necessary for alert delivery is transmitted, and we ensure that such third parties are bound by appropriate data protection agreements.

6. Your Rights and Choices

You have the right to access, correct, or delete your contact information and alert configuration data at any time. You may request information about what data we maintain related to your account. You may also request that we delete your information, subject to legal and operational retention requirements.

You may modify your alert preferences or notification settings at any time through the Emergix service interface. You may also terminate your use of Emergix at any time, which will result in the deletion of your alert configuration data in accordance with our data retention policies.

7. Data Retention

Contact information is retained for as long as necessary to provide Emergix services and maintain your account. Alert configuration data is retained only while your account is active and is deleted promptly upon account termination.

Operational logs are retained in accordance with legal requirements and operational needs, typically for a period necessary to maintain audit trails and service records. These logs do not contain personal information beyond what is necessary for security and compliance purposes.

Upon termination of your Emergix account, we will delete your contact information and alert configuration data, subject to any legal retention requirements.

8. International Data Transfers

Your contact information and alert configuration data may be processed and stored in locations outside your country of residence. We ensure that appropriate safeguards are in place to protect your data in accordance with this Privacy Policy, regardless of where it is processed.

By using Emergix, you consent to the transfer of your information to facilities that may be located outside your country, subject to the security and privacy protections described in this policy.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or legal requirements. Material changes will be communicated to you through reasonable means, such as email notification or prominent notice on the Emergix service.

Your continued use of Emergix after such changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Privacy Policy. We encourage you to review this policy periodically.
